OK, so i just got my first Mac. It's a 17" Powerbook, and it's my new baby. Obviously, I want to protect it so I'm looking for a nice bag. I'd like it if it was a messenger style bag and waterproof or weather-resistent would be a plus. Also, I know i may have to spend a ton of money on it, but the cheaper the better.

Any ideas?

theres a very large thread about backpacks and things like that you should check out. Lots of pics and ideas. Just do a search. Its at the top of my list though.

I've had two of the brenthaven messenger bags (one protects my 15" now). Recommended. You just shelled out big bucks for your 17", so spend a few bucks on a good case to protect it.
