Does anyone else watch this show? Is anyone else going crazy right now? Could they have ended it with any more cliff hangers?

You know, I was about to start a thread about it last night. I was really surprised we didn't already have an Office thread.
I always talked with my co-workers about if Pam and Jim dating during the run of the show would hurt the show, and I don't think it will. There is plenty of other drama in the office, and seeing the entire Pam and Jim thing dragged out for so long is just torturous. I could see the series ending with them getting married, or maybe even with them having a baby.
Michael and Jan is just a great (if not disturbing) relationship though. It's awesome they got back together, and having Jan get fired was a great move. The Jan-is-Michaels boss jokes were getting old. Now we're going to get Jan-is-a-former-employee jokes the next next Michael brings her to a company party.
Not sure what to think of the Ryan and Kelly thing. I always thought Ryan would have to grudgingly stay with her forever.
And we had another great Stanley moment with the "Stanley nickels".

I chuckled throughout the episode but Ryan's line at the end made me laugh so much.

I love this stupid show. I actually have missed the last 6 episodes though, so I can't click on the spoiler box...
I'll get back to y'all in a long time.

I thought it was a great episode. They could have pulled a dick move and left off the dinner invitation, just left with Jim driving... to lord knows where. I was happy that they didn't cliff-hang it, and had him go back to uhm... well, the office... and ask Pam out. That look on her face was priceless, that last smile was just so genuine, so well done. The "office olympics" call-back was well done and subtle (surprisingly enough).
Remember Laminar, we could be hanging on the question of whether Jim was going to meet up with Karen or doing what he wound up doing...

OK, so Jim decided to ask Pam out. What about Karen? I thought for sure Karen would get the job and Jim would then be able to get with Pam. But the temp got the job? Haha, that was great. Notice how Michael asked Ryan to get him some coffee, and Ryan said "I don't do that anymore," before we knew he had gotten the job.
I didn't quite get the Jan thing. I thought she was always a tough, corporate-minded boss who put her career ahead of everything else. But apparently her career wasn't going too well either.

Just watched the finale...
Ryan at the end was very unexpected and hilarious. The sheer glee written all over his face...
But now what? No more Ryan?
Jan seems to be a completely different person than she was when she first came around. She no longer seems intelligent and serious-minded. She now seems like Kelly. Weird turnaround, and I'm not sure I like that.
Stanley nickels are great.
I laughed, especially at Creed. "Swing low sweet chariots." Freakin' hilarious.
That's all.

They've already said Ryan will be around next season, and they will be playing with him being Michael's boss.

I did, but I'm under the impression that the producers want you to think that Ryan accepted the corporate job, but I have sneaky suspicion that he didn't accept that job.

huh.. interesting idea.
But I think there are too many hinters:
Ryan was studying an MBA
Ryan said earlier (when told to get Micheals coffee) "I don't do that stuff anymore"
There was another thing, but i forget.
and just look at him, so awesome!!

That might be interesting. Then again, it might very well not be. I've always thought that B.J. Novak is either the 8th-best performer on the show (behind Dwight, Michael, Jim, Kevin, Stanley, Creed, Jan, and Pam), or that the character itself is 8th-best. Most of Ryan's humor comes from the weird relationship with Michael, not from Ryan's character in and of itself.
It seems that Novak might be pushing for a more prominent role for his character, but I could be completely off base with that.
The last scene of the finale was his best moment by far though. Really, really funny.

I'm assuming he'll still be in every episode (unlike Jan, who is a minor character.)
I disagree about him being 8th, he's in my top 3 of favourite characters I really like how serious he is.
When the office finds out that he is Micheals boss, their reaction will be priceless.

I don't think it's confirmed but I heard BJ is doing this so he won't have to perform on the show as much, and can concentrate more on writing/producing it.
