The Pioneer DV-563 is an extraordinary DVD player that includes playback of DVD-A and SACD discs. It features front controls and has the following jacks on the back: component, composite, and S-Video outputs, coaxial and optical digital audio connectors, and the 5.1 analog audio outputs. To play DVD-A and SACD, you will have to hook the 5.1 analog audio outputs to the back of your receiver. It was purchased new from Best Buy in 2004 for $250. I have always used this player for its audio capabilities, but it has great video performance as well.
