OK, for one...that is the most hideous thing ever...and second, they would never have the base Mac start at $1500

It is blatently a rumour.
As GraphiteBoi said, a base price of $1500 is rediculous,
As is the notion of putting a CDR/DVD drive in it. It's just too expensive.
People can speculate all they like, but the only time I will be convinced there is an update, is when Apple announces it!
