I have a problem with my desktop, everytime a new icon is placed on it they go down the right hand side of the screen then turn into a big stack, which if i want one of them i have to go through...

is there some way of making the desktop auto arrange the icons so that they dont stack like this?

cheers, ken.

It should fill up the desktop and then stack when the grid is full. You mean it's leaving 90 percent of the desktop empty?

reviving an older post...

I have all my newly created icons mysteriously stack up in the lower right hand corner of my screen, even when the screen is not full of icons. This only occurs when I have the label position of icons set to appear on the right of the icon. A bug?
