I get tons of SEO spam. Every single time I've checked, it's someone in India emailing me. And the emails don't seem to be coming from bots either. It seems like in these "SEO Specialists" downtime, they just go fishing around the web for work.

So I was thinking about ways to try to stop this SEO Spam and it hit me. Maybe the solution is simple. These are not bots, so lets take advantage. Hows about I put a check box right next to the "Send" button, that says something like "Send this email to the SEO department". When checked, the script simply won't send the email to me. (BTW in case it's not clear, all of my sites use web forms for contact, that simply gather the info and send it to me as an email). So what Indian SEO hack could possibly resist that checkbox! Its so easy, it just might work. I think I'll give it a try, but I need to start tracking my SEO spam for a while first, so I can have a control to measure against.

The way I see it you have only a few options:

1) Take them up on their offer

2) Call the police
Emergency Medicine & Urgent Care.

Since bstone has obviously taken to trolling your threads with bullshit posts (compare the noise cancellation thread), I think it's safe to suggest that you, in particular, should just ignore him.

It's called being silly. Trolling is stirring up unnecessary debate and drama, something you just did.
