Story of this Laptop;
This laptop was purchased by my mother who believe it or not is a Hewlett Packard Executive (funny that even she prefers an apple laptop)
She only used it maybe once a week or once every two weeks while she was home inbetween stops in her busy travel schedule, and she recently upgraded to the new macbook, so someone here is going to get a laptop better than a refurb and fresh out of the box for a great price.

cbrfanatic...I think your price is very good, even without Applecare. Until the new aluminum MacBook arrives last Fall, there was just one faster model MacBook at 2.4GHz. The 2.2 was top of the line for quite a while and is still an excellent machine at the price you're asking. Have you tried craigslist or ebay?

thank you chabig. i am going to put it on ebay sometime into next week so that the middle of the auction falls right around payday
I was going to post it here for a good price hoping that someone would like to get it for a family member or use xmas money maybe. It is in such pristine condition its unbelievable.
