Do they not teach web design at that school? WTF?

Just strip the case apart and take it to the local chrome shop and have the whole thing annodized. You pick the color: red, dark red, gold, black, dark blue, light blue, green, pink, orange...

Just like the case on the mini. If I had an absolute dearth of taste and common sense, I'd go with a black case with red cheese grater (for a sinister look), or maybe solid red or solid blue.

That's just a strangely-lit photograph.

Not a purple G5.

Damn, and I was hoping this thread was about a modded G5. This isn't exciting at all.

No, really? You think? You mean its not a real purple G5... new option from Apple?

The thing that makes this bizarre is that the photo is not an original done by the school's bookstore. Its a stock Apple press photo that some graphic design genius managed to screw up by distorting its color.

Hot Damn, you're right! I just put 4 black light bulbs in the ceiling fan, and one in the desklamp, and just like that, I've got a purple G5!

Brb, gotta go to the nearest head shop... errrr... smoker's supply shop and get some black velvety posters of dragons and tigers.

Something with a skull. A skull and a snake.

That'd be cool.

And maybe Elvis.
