Or just don’t email it at all.

I know what it is... I was the one who just set it.

The [/youtube] tag won’t work with a whole URL. It just wants the ID code.

Like so...

I've got another one:

Hey Apple,

Don't turn off low-power mode when my phone charges past 80%. Because then when I'm on the road and it's suddenly draining battery, it's because I'll forget that YOU, Apple, turned off low-power mode. I paid for my phone, don't override settings to tell me how you want me to use your phone when your settings make it less efficient. You're already under enough heat with the phone battery controversy today, and with the Bluetooth confusion from a few months back.

Feedback sent to Apple.
Yours truly, And.reg, "The Mighty" Pain in the Ass

I think apple made the right call making it the default that it switches off, they should 100% offer an option that makes it not do so.

I did it that way because otherwise, it would let spammers embed *any* url. Instead, we supply the Youtube URL and just take the video ID you supply. If a vB tag allowed me to add code, I'd validate a URL and let you put full ones in. But vB3 tags don't allow for an associated code block. Maybe vB4 will, if I ever get back to that.

Apparently they needed to tweak the de-icers.

IOW, the roof was holding the snow wrong.

All of Chicago is in a migration flyway (all of Illinois, for that matter). But, it's too late in the season for the birdstrike to have been a migrating species. It was probably a year-round resident species. What the building does have is a visibility problem. All that glass looks pretty much like open air to a bird.

IIUC, this was happening earlier in the year. For some reason, dimming the lights helped, which makes no sense to me, so it may be wrong.
