hi;
I am new and I come with a BIG problem that I wish you could kindly advise me on! I promise I will get to the point. All started with Screen flicker...ok....ckecked inverter, aactually had to replace it ( also checked the display cable with a new one made sure that one was ok)...
The problme.... Screen has lost total visual effect,i.e. no picture at all....went to ebay, ordered a whole new (kinda new) screen ( I know, why don't I just buy a new PowerBook, so many reasons beside the big one, no green stuff on trees yet). So now I get a picture, but it is like the old TVs, the picture cycles like the old B&W TVs on bad reception, from top to down!
The question: IS MY BOARD DEAD?
I so thank you with all your help....as I have reached the end of my line of sanity! Is there a program that can check video function? I used to have Mac test Pro a long time ago, but no longer likes OS 9! Thank you again.

farbod
