This is weird . When is choose shut down, my computer is shutting down my screen goes blank ,my ventilater goes down and short after that it restarts !!! i can't shut it down!!!! even in os 9 same problem...
The only thing i can to is take out the electricity cable... and also very strange when i put it back in my computer starts without pushing to button !!

plz help hope this is not a hardware problem.

What USB devices do you have connected? Some are known to cause this problem......try disconnecting all but the keyboard/mouse and see if the problem disappears.

I've had a similar problem with one of our macs. It wouldn't restart. No matter what it would always shutdown. One day it finially stopped that was after installing a zip drive to the machine. We have no clue though what we did or touched to make it working again.

Sow it's fixed by just plugging out the usb cables? Is this a bad problem , something with my computer? Because in never had this problem only one day.... and now it's gone already. Thanks for the help !!!
