As the title says. Does the late 2007 Macbook pro support dual channel memory?

I was looking around and might try to see if I can snag a black friday deal on memory to upgrade my notebook. I only have 2 x 1gb DDR2 SDRAM 667 mhz and was hoping to upgrade it to 2 x 2gb.

Thanks in advanced

You can go for a 2GB and a 4GB if you like. Max is 6GB for some reason. But 4 will work fine too.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....

Yes. If you have two matched DIMMs, it will run in dual channel mode. If you don't have matched DIMMs, it will use two single channels instead. In effect, this makes almost zero difference in your model, and having more memory is always better.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
