All IM clients (so far that I know, can do that). The one he is using there is iChat which comes with OSX. But it also works with Adium. Just go to contact list under preference. Edit the layout list so that its "window" not "bubbles"

I got the photo off some site, don't remember the link but I can put the image on my iDisk for download.

The theme is a Niqu mod, G-Metal.

but the buddylist in ichat isnt able to display different groups all in one window, instead you have to choose one group at a time or display them all at once combined together (basically its all filters). so i was wondering if he was using something to change that. or it could be adium with some kind of ichat skin or something. anyone know?

oh really? i had read that this was a feature that hadnt been implemented in ichat for tiger (the article i read was someone nitpicking at tiger, i've long forgotten where i read it). oh well.. thanks for clarifying, ms510

however, it would be great if there was a way in panther to change ichat to do that as well...

With the kind permission of gruneeitelkeit, I'm taking up VOID from where he left it, in fact combining it with a button-less theme I'm working on myself.

Very interesting mod. The Apple looks very out of place though. Maybe an outline of an Apple to match the Spotlight...

ultraman: Wow, I really like the Soft Aqua 10.4 mod. Is it complete and will you be releasing it, either here or MacThemes?

[EDIT:] Sorry, I found out that thr124 over at MacThemes is the person working on releasing it. Either way, I'm excited about its release.

Yes, thr124 has already made the 10.3 theme, and is gonna release the 10.4 version too.
That's why I'm not gonna release my port, even if it looks good

I love the subtle touches of scattered purple.

And gerrit, VOID looks pretty neat. I'd love to try that. A bit too simple for me, but hell, I might actually like it.

I don't think it looks like Windows. I do like the simplicity though. I assume the Z E N are the window buttons.

Could you maybe keep the colored apple menu icon as an option - I just love the old apple and thought it looked pretty good in your older screenshot!

Great theme, Gerrit!!

Dropped it when making the menubar black. Anyway, I'll put it in the Blue system appearance.
