Can I just transfer TrueType fonts found on a Windows PC to my Mac and use them?
Or are they two completely different beasts?

thanks

On MacOS X, you don't have to convert anything. MacOSX can read Windows' .TTF fonts without any problems.

If you are using OS9 then the above post's link is recommended.

Sort of off-topic, but when you purchase a license for a font, it's actually for reproductive rights, not the ACTUAL machine it runs on, right? The BSA can't claim pirating if you purchased a windows font and use it your new X mac.
