I hope I can describe this properly. I am looking for a mac text editor with the ability to collapse markup items. I know I've seen something like this before in the windoze world, but would really like it in a mac application. I want to use it for coding xhtml, php and css files and be able to collapse the heirarchy in the document window. For example, have everything between opening and closing 'form' tags collapse to just the 'form' tag itself, or have a php function collapse to just the function name, etc... I hope this describes what I (and I'm sure many) want. I would really appreciate any info regarding programs that have this feature.

I know NetBeans does this for code blocks, but I don't know if it does for HTML or not. Since it handles JSP/JSTL, it might.

I know exactly what you mean. I would love to see this feature in BBEdit. Think I sent them an email about it a couple of years ago, but they said they had no plans for it.

Maybe if enough people ask them, they will implement it in the 8.5 version or something..

Btw. I think the GoLive version is way too bloated. I would prefer something more like this:
