I can find lots of (old) speculation about when Apple might release a new version of the iPad Mini. Just about every prediction has expired - “late summer”, “in September”, “before November”, etc.

Maybe I just don’t know where to look for good predictions....

Anyway, is there anything glimmering about a new Mini? Maybe Black Friday, or Christmas?

Isn't the iPhone X Pro Max about the same screen acreage as a Mini?

There is one more event planned on the 10th. If it doesn’t come there, it isn’t coming before March.
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Mini has an inch-and-a-half diagonal on the Max.

I’m looking because my wife’s iPad Mini 4 is starting to show its age. She wants to keep the small form factor of the Mini versus the iPad Air, but with a battery that isn’t as anemic as hers has become.

She isn’t interested in a huge phone. We both liked the iPhone 5 & 6 form factor, so we’re pretty set on when our iPhone 8’s need replacement, we’re both going with the 12 Mini.
