I'm assuming this is Jaguar only.

In the address bar type in 'www' only. The completion window will now pop up.

Don't type any more and take your mouse to the title bar and drag IE around.

Oops, some Microsoft developer forgot to make the completion window part of the IE main windows window group!

Enjoy!

what bothers me about this is that for OS 9 MS spent the time to write code to make the pop-down menu transparent and blur the contents below it. However in OS X they don't use quartz to do this and therefore when you drag the window around the blurred contents shown in the menu remain stagnant. I would really like to see MS use quartz to do this properly.

I have seen cocoa apps with the same problem so I would think that if MS were to switch to Apple's API for pop-down menus then it would be in Apple's hands to fix the problem (which they may have done already).
