Hi there,
I have a G4 iMac running 10.3.9 and since downloading the latest security update Preview will not launch. I am unable to view any photographs whatsoever; all other apps are working OK.
I have repaired permissions, logged in as another user, gone down the fsck route - all of which have not fixed the problem. Would anyone have a 'fix?' Please!!
Thanks in advance

Having done a little more detective work, I trashed the com.apple.Preview.plist file from User/Library/Preferences then rebooted and hey presto Preview launches OK!

eddie,

Delete preview.app, get pacifist from http://macupdate.com/pacifist and insert your OS X install discs and tell it to reinstall preview.app.
