I'm going to be in Ottawa tomorrow, and I was wondering if those poppy dollars are in general distribution, or if you have to get them from the mint. I want to pick one up while I'm there. I'll check in here before I leave in the morning. Thanks in advance for any answers.

They are quarters and yes they are in general circulation. If you don't find one just pop into any bank.

I got one of them from Tim Horton's last week. It's really not as impressive as I thought it would be. It looks as they the poppy was printed on, I thought it was part of the quarter's material.
I already spent it on candy.
