Hitting the Spacebar when viewing a web-page will preform the same task as hitting the page-down key. But when you hit the shift key first then the spacebar it pages back up! cool! I was always using the arrow keys to page back up.

Another shortcut: Hit the command key then the spacebar(spotlight field pops up. hit it again to hide spotlight)....I'm sure many of you will probably already knew this stuff but it's new to me.

I didn't know this. But if fits with the general UI paradigm of the Shift key being a modifier for keyboard-based navigation.

Thanks for the tip.

In the middle of the day it's not so bad but at night when it's late, I agree.

I knew about the spacebar=pgdn, but I had no clue that the shift button reversed the effect. Nifty.

I'm a little surprised this isn't more well known.
