Ok, i am very interested in making my own Mac themes... but everywhere I search I can't seem to get a straight answer as to what program to use. I want an authoring tool to create a Mac OS theme. can anyone tell me a good pregram to use and where i can get it?

Thanks

ThemePark is the tool to use. ShapeShifter is what everyone uses to apply themes. (except for one crotchity old mac 7.6.1 user who happens to be using os x (I will not point at anyone (Zimphire))).

Overall the system is decent. The sucky part is that you have to pay for theme park, after having to pay for shape shifter, which makes only a little sense to me. (someone is helping to promote your tool and you are charging them? eh)

In either case though, themepark is really useful when you figure it out.

Actually, Themepark was originally coded to allow theming for OS X by .dlta format (resource based switching). Shapeshifter and the guiKit framework came much later and has nothing to do with a pricing conspiracy. You can still make themes with Themepark and export them to .dlta, although you won't have menu enhancements or text color mods and someone will eventually bork their system and come crying here for help....

ok, I'll add my question here: I wish to modify a theme (Polyvinyl Plastics) for my own use, mainly my gripes are too big font in iTunes and the background of "LCD".
