Not that this one is the greatest, it's just that I want one that will accommodate the obscure references by some of the more nerdy posters I run across.
I don't know if this list is a Cadillac or a Yugo.
Got a better one than this?

You've got to be kidding me.
I rarely use shorthand or acronyms, even when I text message. When I was in middle school, I remember seeing a lot of girls write 'LYLAS,' 'HAGS,' and 'ASS' in each other's yearbooks... which meant 'Love You Like A Sister,' 'Have A Good Summer,' and 'Always Stay Sweet,' respectively. Even so, I would say 90% of those found on that page are never used in real-world situations.

My nephew recently sent me an email using "text speak" or whatever it's called. I replied by telling him to type everything out or not send me emails since it gives me a headache.

IDGTPOUSELATNOCEBETFOWTMOTO. SWDIA?
I don't get the point of using such excessively long acronyms that no one could ever be expected to figure out what they mean on their own. Seriously, what does it accomplish?
