Could anyone tell me if there is a way to drag'n'drop files from one partition to other partitions instead of duplicating?

MacOS has no provision for moving (as opposed to copying) files between volumes. I do it by dragging the files to be moved to the trash, opening the trash, and dragging them to the final destination, let it copy, and then empty the trash

Hi,

Herman, I dont believe Tooki is correct. I believe there is a hot key that will move the file instead of copying it. Look in Mac OS help. (Cmd-?)

hope you find what your looking for.

Nil
