Ok so I have all my files on my macbooks external hdd, I want to access them from my xbox running xbox media center. I added this to the "sources.xml"
<bookmark>
<name>MacBook</name>
<path>smb://user: [email protected]/</path>
</bookmark>
that let me gain access to the macbook hdd, but i need to get into the external, what would be the code for that?

Is the login you're using an administrator login? Only an admin login from a remote computer can see external drives without using Mac OS X Server.

Have you tried something like:
192.168.1.102/VOLUMES/EXTERNALHD
|
