just a report from the front:
actually, month-and-a-half since i got my mini (2g dualproc, 2gig ram).
i, uh, bitched & moaned about the new imac glossy screen, so i went with the mini (and my widescreen LG monitor).

am happy as can be. no crashes, weird behavior, glitches (and i have a lot of haxies, etc).
runs my primary apps (logic8, reason4) together with no hiccups.

wireless keyboard (which i'm getting used to), wireless mouse.

am impressed, relieved. the new mini is a monster!

Great to hear. I've been thinking about picking one up as an iTunes server to stream my video to my 360. Any issues with running a Laptop HD?

We have a few hundred minis running as servers and have very little problems with the laptop HD. I think this is because once a mini is set up as a server, it is rarely moved or bumped. In a laptop, there is much more abuse.
