I noticed that when I start my Mac and that before it had launched the Classic environment, it starts under OS9. That does it each time now, whereas at the beginning, that did not do it. Now before extinguishing or starting I must force to leave the Classic environment.

Hmm. If you're saying you're starting up in OS 9, go to System Preferences and click on Startup disk. Then choose a folder with OS X on it. (in os9 go to control panels:startup disk)
If classic is starting up each login, go to System Preferences, then click on classic and make sure the "Start up Classic on login..." box is UNchecked.
