By request of the Delicious Monster people, the regular MacNN staff has taken over moderation of this forum. I suppose the DM people would rather spend their time programming than handing out speeding tickets or noise citations.
We have heard the rumors concerning the wild parties and loud music in here. Accordingly, we put two toughs on the job. Try to keep it down after dark, and you won't even notice them hanging around in their trench coats.
Please direct secret reports on your neighbors' actions to the two names listed at the bottom of the forum. The DM people are no longer authorized to handle classified reports in that category.

Upon rereading, the first post didn't clarify something: the Delicious Monster folks are still here to answer support requests, get feedback, discuss, etc. They just aren't handling crowd control or spam any more.

When I wandered in to check the place out there was a pile of empty pizza boxes and a whole lot of empty beer cans. Cheap beer at that. There's been stuff goin' on here that seems to go against the tenant agreements... Gonna have to keep an eye on things to see who's causing the ruckus and give 'em a good talking to. Let me know if you see folks bringing in cases of cheap beer and the like.

Last time I checked, it seemed like the hosts (DM) had left the party, and the guests hadn't noticed. 
They do occasionally come back and check on the crowd, though.

It would be really nice if they restored the support link pointing here from the DM site. It was removed before we could take over moderation duties.

It's a critique, sure.
It just doesn't seem they take this forum very seriously. Heck, you had to email them to come back and check on recent posts. That's just bad CS.

and since it's bad customer service, then it makes macnn look bad in a way. so how about someone tear up the lease and kick the tenants out? just a suggestion
