We have just had our phone system upgraded at work and I have a nice new phone with caller ID and a bunch of digital features.
What options do I have in terms of controlling my telephony from my desktop Mac (1.8 G5 10.3). Caller ID appearing on my monitor....dialling from Address Book...that sort of thing.
Googling around doesn't seem to show too many options.
Most likely, none. The most common digital phone systems are strictly proprietary. The newer breed of IP telephony might integrate with your Mac but from what I've heard most companies put in a parallel Ethernet network to support the phones.
