I bought my wife an 11" macbook air on Sunday and have not been able to play wmv. More upsetting is the fact that every time I try to download flip4mac or similar microsoft downloads my wife's air will re-direct my search to a totally unrelated site. Anyone else have this bizarre experience? I am about ready to return it for a non-air version.

Which site you get sent to will help us figure out how your wife's problem. It sounds like the computer's DNS cache has been hijacked, rerouting certain web requests to another destination. It could simply be a matter of clearing the cache to fix the problem, but knowing where she's getting sent will help us determine whether it's DNS or something else.
