Any problems, issues?

Post your specs:
12" 1.33GHz
768MB RAM
60GB 5400rpm HD

*Update*
Battlefield Secret Weapons seems to run much smoother with Instant Battle. Not saying much, but it's something.

Yep, but only one so far. It doesn't fix this:

http://discussions.info.apple.com/[email protected]/12

Apart from that it seems ok after a few hours' use.

During the installation some crazy things appeared on the display, like a mosaic and some areas were blinking :-(

I was really worried about my Powerbook but as far I can see now: everything work fine!

No problems at all. Set it to install and left it alone. Reboot took just a touch longer than normal, but I figured that was just part and parcel for the new upgrade. Haven't done a second reboot to check speed yet, but I expect it to be as quick as always.

Same on my Titanium, 'cept that one restart was all that was needed. Now AirPort is fine post-sleep.

I seem to remember this behavior when 10.3.5 first came out too

I had a minor issue .. the first time I had an issue with an update.

The trackpad on my pb wasn't detected. I didn't notice (as I was using a bluetooth mouse). I only became aware when I went to turn off bluetooth and I got a warning message saying if I turned it off I would have no pointing device and would be unable to control the computer (nice touch Apple! ).

Rebooted and it was fine.

Updated both of the computers listed in my sig. Both went without a hitch, but I haven't tried connecting my firewire HD or playing DiabloII fullscreen yet. I'll do both of these this evening and see what happens.

My 12'PB 1.33 GHz 786RAM 80GB hard drive,

I running WAY hotter than before with 10.3.5. It used to ruan at about 125 to 135 degrees with just simple safari, ichat and mail.

Now it is at 146 to 150 degrees! With nothing of work going on....the fans are going crazy!

Anyone else with this problem?

Thanks

I just ran Cocktail and MacJanitor and it seem to help a lot! Temperatures are down to 120-130 and the fans are not running as fast and load!

I didn't think I had any problems with 10.3.6, but lately my 17" PB RevA fan has been running 70% of the time I am using it. And we're talking MS word, Firefox, and iTunes here, not FinalCut, Photoshop, or any games. What gives? My physical setup hasn't changed and there's plenty of space for air around the unit. I even propped it up so that it could circulate better, but the fan keeps chugging along. Thoughts?
