How do you edit the System Sounds so that only some of them play? In the System Preferences Sound pane, I only see a choice between all on or all off, where there's a check box for "Play user interface sounds".

That's it. They're either on or they're off. I'm sure someone would be able to recommend some shareware or something that could change this behavior, but the only standard options are on or off.
