how does one uninstall software/apps?

for example boot camp?

i am talking about like going to start>control panel> add or remove programs

but for Mac

Most of the time this is just done by throwing the application in the trash, usually out of the Applicaitons folder. However, most programs create preference files and the like, so you might check into something like AppZapper - Making uninstalls as simple as installs.
