I don't know anything about making forms, so I really need help. I'd like to create a form where people place their first and last name, email, title and when they hit submit it gets sent to an email address or added to a list on a file stored on the website. Also, does anyone know of a good software autoresponder? For either PC, Mac or both. So can anyone please help me. I even need to send 'em to a confirmation page or an error page. Hope I'm not asking for too much

I've used this form before: http://www.bignosebird.com/carchive/bnbform.shtml

It's nice because you don't have to mess with any scripting whatsoever. You setup the script with the correct permissions, then you tell the script what to do from within your form by putting in hidden fields.

It will append to a file, redirect to a response page, email results, etc. I got it up and running for a quick job at work in about 20 min.

The easiest solution is FormMail.pl, which is a simple Perl CGI.

http://www.scriptarchive.com/download.cgi?s=formmail

It's free and works well.

Seems to be down . Can it be found at another place?

Also is there one that'll let me format the response using simple variables? Like...

$blah has to say $feedback.

?
