I like Eylo, but I also find I can't find any appropriate icons to match it. So I decided to make my own. They're not perfect but they work, I'm gonna release two different versions. Right now I'm still working on the first version, but here's a preview:

Let me know what you think, but please go easy on me

There's a little hiccup in the top line of each folder just to the right of the tab, but otherwise they're looking good!

Totally awesome!

I never got around to use Eylo just because I couldn't find matching icons, so these are perfect!
I hope you've got time and patience to make a complete set. Systemicons and all..

Yup, it's they EYLO desktop. You'll find it in the "Extras" folder within the ShapeShifter DMG.

Looks like I got featured at Macthemes.net ....wow, surprise they remember the theme I ported "SEER". They also mentioned the XBOX and PS2 theme mockups, thought people had forgotten about those XBOX wasn't a mockup though, I had themed some elements(called the theme XOSX)...I just never released anything. I also tried making a Canadian theme and a Co-Pilot port. Themes take too long to make Just so people always ask you to change this and that... Anyways, I will be releasing these icons as a full iContainer set.

A full iContainer set implies that you'll do all of the toolbar icons, right? I've seen many promising sets who lacked essential toolbar icons...

Super nice work

Not bad. My suggestion would be to make the folder icons lean in the same angle as the folder, and to fix the edge if the red area that someone mentioned.

About your mockups dace, I think you lead people to believe that you are making the theme when you post mockups, maybe you should be more clear about that. Some people are waiting on you to make the Co-pilot X theme.

So what are people using for Eylo icons while they wait for a good set? With SS 1.1 Eylo is now totally useable, except for the lack of some cool icons to go along with the theme.

These are looking really good. It's good to see someone taking interest in theme-specific icons. Some themes out there are so cool, but impossible to get icons for. Remember, if you're going to release these, please try to make it a full set. Full icon sets are such a rarity unfortunately. Look at the icons CandyBar lets you change, and make sure every one of those is catered for for a start...

A little off topic, but you're the DACE that made the BBX Mercury dock skins, right?
I wouldn't have my dock looking any other way!

Two questions:

1). Do you know if Skin-a-dock is a dead project? It hasn't been updated for ages, and doesn't work with Panther. Any ideas on that? I'm using A-dock right now as a dock replacement just to use your BBX Black dock skin!

2). Do you plan to make any more dock skins? An Eylo one would be so cool. BBX Black looks awesome already with Neos!

Thanks, Man.

I would make the X for the System folder look more Panther-ish and therefore less serifed. The typeface for the X just doesn't match the modern look of the other icons.

I disagree, that would make the folders look like they're in perspective...and they're not. Besides, some of the icons are slanted or have a slant

That Safari icons kicks ass. I'm not sure which one I like better.

If you make a full system set for Eylo including the main apps (Safari, iLife apps, mail, etc.) you will be the grooviest person ever.

Just wanna make sure that you're aware there was a previous made-for-Eylo icon set (called A-Lo no less). I got it when I was using Eylo a while back, and I've always been using the icons with other themes I like them so much. (They seem like pretty 'appropriate' icons to match Eylo.)

And could someone tell me why I can't seem to find anything whatsoever about that old A-Lo icon set on the web??
