I'm still pretty new to macs, only had my macbook for about 3 months, so I'm new to the whole GUI modding thing...

here is my present desktop:

sorry, I don't know how to do those little preview boxes...

And one question...how do I get widgets on my actually desktop instead of my dashboard? That would be very much appreciated... thanks

just for fun installed imetal over leopard and i have to say it doesn't look half bad....

Finally found software that rips DVD's how I want them to be ripped. By "Hard stretching" them so they're still 480 pixels high but as wide as they need to be. (848 pixels. Same width DVD Player stretches it to.) No more of that "Let's shrink it down so that it's 720 pixels wide and lose some horizontal detail" bull crap.

Now, if they would let me do this in the actual GUI app.. (It has a limit to how high resolution the file it rips can be. Seems odd as all it needs to do is allow a larger number up to 480 in the height box to work.)

and yes, leopard, though it still has the fugly brushed metal look.
imetal and uno both work with it.

Yeah, seems like there is a bit of a noisy texture over the entire image... At first I thought it was just on your background image, then I realized that it was on the finder windows too. Maybe it is something with the jpg?

For the Dashboard widgets, you can use Amnesty or
or Dashboard, Dev mode and F12: read here. Or use: Yahoo Widget Engine

This theme (Ayofe) does not tweak (for some reason) it was remade and then tweaked so no share until mods are allowed.

Yeah, I just tried to tweak it here and it's a no go. I thought that guiTweak had been fixed in 2.4 but it seems to be as flaky as ever. Damn.

Edit: OK, I applied Ayofe then imported it into a new guiKit in TP. Then I exported it to SS and tweaked this version. Seems to work so far...
