I found a link to crucial.com site on this forum, and I was woundering how reliable are they for the UK?
Also they are selling the 512MB RAM, for my 17" 1.25Ghz iMac at only �68 compared to the �160 from apple, are they the same speed RAM or different, are they by the same company and are they just as good as apples?

You should be fine. I've gotten a lot of memory from Crucial. They are about the best in the business. All macs are the same (hardware wise) if you get it in the states or UK. Crucial is a very highly regarded vendor in the Mac World.

Thanks for that, I wont hesitate in ordering 512mb RAM from there!
