I haven't played Halo since it came out for Mac, but I put it in today. Whenever I zoom on the sniper rifle I get no image. I can see the zoom count (2x, 8x, etc.) and the crosshairs, but nothing else. I downloaded and installed the latest update (1.05), but it didn't fix the problem.

I've got a dual 1Ghz Quicksilver with a GForceTi and about a gig of RAM. Halo has always played smooth, and I never remember a problem with the sniper rifle. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

This is a bug that affects users of GeForce cards who have NV shaders enabled. If you turn off NV shaders, it'll go away. Unfortunately, turning off the shaders makes the game look pretty bad. Try having just vertex shaders on.

One of the 10.x updates fixed this sniper problem, sorry I cannot remember which.
It works fine on my G4. Same specs as yours.

The fix came out after I had finished Halo
