Is anyone else bothered about the stupid "spy camera" popup window that comes up so often when you get to a web site? Here's the URL, in case you haven't see it (which probably means you haven't been on the web for a year or so ): Spy away

What's really creepy about it is that it lurks behind the uppermost browser window, and then when you close it, there's the camera looking at you.
And that's true too.--Shakespeare, King Lear

We should boycott sites with that ad.

I went to the link posted above, but turned off the browser cookies, first, because they are instruments of the devil. No annoying camera popup appeared.

Those pop-up windows that hide behind browser windows are so damn annoying. Turning off Javascript prevents this kind of thing, but then you can't load any site that uses it. I say the solution is to complain your ass off to the offending sites.

I read an article somewhere about this company, apparently it's an industry first or something for this kind of a wide spread ad campaign. I guess a bunch of people are calling for a boycott of the X10 cameras, but I guess the company is not backing down or anything. Oh well.
