So why does Apple have to fix this? It seems to me that it was Microsloth's update that broke compatibility. How is it Apple's problem if when trying to fix security problems with IE M$ made the QuickTime plugin not work?

Isn't it funny how C|net tries to turn this into Apple's problem? Gee, let's think about this for a moment: MICROSOFT changes their browser, and suddenly it's APPLE's fault that QuickTime doesn't work? Way to show everyone who's got the brains, she|pet.

Funny also that the article doesn't mention the anti-trust case. This is not good timing for MS. This is exactly the type of thing that will go into briefs and raise judge's eyebrows.
