Up to how much you want to spend really just make sure its HD and has got at least 2 HDMI sockets. You wont go far wrong with panasonic or sony.

.....ohh yeah, then buy a PS3 so you can game in HD and watch DB movies!!

The Source By Circuit City : LCD TVs - PANASONIC TC32LX70 32" LCD TELEVISION

thats the tv i have its only 32" and 720p but the quality its fantastic!!!

i went to the apple store and talked to them about my idea, with using an HD LCD as a monitor and they strongly discouraged me saying it will be fuzzy and NOT a good idea. so now im back to the drawing board.

my boss sent me here and im very intrigued with what i see but need some solid facts on the differences between them.

E207WFP 20-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor $229

UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch Flat Panel LCD Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand $269

E228WFP 22-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor $269

UltraSharp 2007WFP 20-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor with Height Adjustable Stand $309

i am leaning on the two bolded, but cant decide.

Apple is half right. Most lcd tvs are not made for that purpose. There are a number of computer monitors on the market with HDMI and component cable connectors that will connect to cable digital boxes and with dvi connectors that will connect to a mac digital output. I am using a BenQ FP241W Z monitor right now with those capabilities. sam

For a 22" monitor id get the new samsung one... it gets good reviews

The Dell 2007WFP is a legend monitor, i've got one myself, amazed with it.

cant recommend it enough, it is actually really good. Can hook up xbox 360 via VGA, mac through DVI, ps2 through s-video, whatever through composite, i tried ps2 through it although quality was fairly shocking.

dont quite know how youre going to get TV through it though, although im sure its doable.

Picture quality is amazing, bright ambient screen, sleek design, really good overall.

Don't think you can run 2 monitors on a MacBook ... mac pro will do obviously!!

2 monitors gives you more 'screen estate' at the compromise of having a bezel in the centre of your work area. Personally id rather have 1 24" monitor than 2 20" monitors... its really down to how you intend to use the screens!!?! 2 screens works well for audio as you can have mixer on one screen and recording tracks on the other, i'm sure there are similar advantages in video authoring.
