Me. My wife does, but she takes the bus to work every day. I don't need one for a 15 minute car drive.

HP is not "making" them. Apple is making them and sticking them in an HP box. This is good because it gets them sold in a lot more places and marketed a lot more.

It also brings more non-WMA credibility to the PC platform.

They aren't. Apple is making them, but HP is selling them. HP agrees to bundle iTunes on the Desktop of every PC out the door. Apple makes money by people using iTMS. Apple gets more exposure.

Why is this 40GB iPod full with only 1,100 or so songs ? Is that because he used Apple Lossless to import ?

Shouldn't it say "HP: borrow" or "HP: license".

Invent they didn't. Apple "invented" the iPod.

HP: copy

I don't.

I don't listen to music on the move that much but would love one if I could do "Home" on the iPod. I'm envisioning a port on the top of the iMac where you can slide your iPod in, boot up and go.

Actually, it shows how to discern the difference between two electronic devices that are nearly identical. If we weren't Mac Nerds, how would we ever know that all iPods didn't have the HP logo?

Good point.
We need less Democrats and Republicans, and more people that think for themselves.

Wow...and there i was all ignorant of the fact that quite a lot of people here dont have iPods. I use to go between my grandparents house (VERY near college) and my parents house when i went to college and i needed an iPod so i had all my music all the time and didnt' have to lug CDs around all the time. Now i got my PB and i finished college so i dont use it much now...i can take my PB to Uni for music.
They're good if your in the gym BTW

Oh and york, dont take it so seriously!!
