I want to get my Mothers new to her (ancient) iMac G3 400 MHz, 128MB iMac a speed boost for Christmas. I wanted to know if you guys think this memory would work in the computer?
512MB 64X64 SDRAM OEM HI-DENSITY FREE SHIPPING
It seems to meet most of the requirements if I remember correctly, but the 64X4 comment throws me off.

Also anyone know what kind of (watch battery I assume) I need to fix the dead battery for the backup clock?

Thanks.

The early models did, but the DV models onwards used 'standard' (as in most desktop PCs were being shipped with them at the time) PC100 or PC133 168-pin dimms.

EDIT: Just re-read, I got confiused between low density and low profile....so maybe a good point.
