We came here with intention of being entertained and to share our thoughts. Instead we receive this. Thats my point.

It may be true that we dont know how to use the forum "correctly" and that our responses are "Cap-less", but hey, New. Remember?
We already undestand what you consider "proper" writing and your hate towards the excess of smileys. We accepted them, after all we are the new commers that have to adapt.

Yes I'm concious we acted a little rude but what did you expect from a bunch of girls that come and joined a forum with no other reason but fun and then were attacked by the veterans? What is your point? Bully the newbies? We were called spamers, 13-year olds and so much more.

I have found awesome information and tips for my mac and I'm willing to help other with my own tips. (Totally LOVED the "OMG!! I spilled water/beer/liquid on my Mac" thread. Cold Warrior you are my hero!)

I really hope all of us, ladies and gentlemen, get over this.
Who is with me?

Hold down the shift key when you minimize or maximize a window...

Or hit control, option, command + 8.

It's like your tripping, woah.

Yes, you were called out on being rude and obnoxious. People made it clear that several of the newcomers here were on thin ice and being incredibly annoying, yet it continued and such warnings were met with mocking by the newcomers.

Would you behave that way in real life?

If you want to be an actual member of the community, go for it. Look around, participate in some non-Lounge threads, and get a feel for the environment. More power to you!

If you just came to post about Twilight and be immature and girly toward other members, however, find somewhere else. I don't think that's too unrealistic.
Sell or send me your vintage Mac things if you don't want them.

Sorry I didn't mean to use the ultrahypnotic power of the 4-Dimensional Hypercube to derail the thread, carry on.

I am with you Thing2
We were bullied, and not all of us started being rude and yet you all treated us in a very rude way, you guys have to accept that.
And yeah it took us some time to abstain to the rules, we just had to get adapted thats all, just a process.
I'm still loving the community, including you shifuimam, my role model. (:

I don't see what the big deal is/was. If you don't like their behavior, ignore them. If you can't bring yourself to ignore them, there's always a button available to help you out.

This was already mentioned in the feedback thread about this.

I can deal with the occasional crap from regular users, because they know how things are around here. Besson annoys the bejeebus out of me, but he's tolerable. This was a case of random girls coming out of nowhere and immediately being really fricking annoying and obnoxious - and continuing in doing so when other members told them to cut it out.

If it was one person being a tool, that would be one thing, but it was a group of users all at once.

New members: it sounds like you're trying to learn the ropes. Kudos.

Old members: Cut them some slack; they have settled down since you voiced a couple major concerns. Safe now your Lounge is.
