I'm guessing noone cares about this since everybody is all up in the ipod touches and iphones and whatnot but my ipod classic 160GB is pissing me off. Menus and whatnot are super slow. Googling the issue it seems pretty widespread and makes me think there's nothing I can do but I just wanted to throw a line out there to see if anyone figured out a fix.
I saw a mention that maybe taking the album artwork off would help it, but that would be a lot of work for me for something that's not for sure.
I don't even care about the fancy artwork, coverflow or even the color screen. Is there a way to put old ipod software on a new ipod?
