I was able to browse our office network using Jaguar. With Panther, I can ping a server, mount a server if I put in the ip address (smb://192.xxx.xxx.xxx), but the folder named for the workgroup is empty. Also, I cannot add a shared printer on an Windows machine either. Anyone with the same problems? Solutions?

Same here. I had to manually enter the address to find it. Wish I knew of a fix. Anyone?

Also, can't type in printer addresses which is annoying as hell...

Actually, I found out that if you hold down option when you click "Add Printer" you can type in a SMB address, just like in Jaguar and it'll work:
smb://user assword@DOMAIN/SERVER/PRINTER
But there should be a better way!
