I got mine 6/29 (but didn't get it activated until 7/1)

I wish there was a way to keep track of our WiFi data use. I use my WiFi at least 6x more than EDGE.

Slick shoes?! Are you crazy?!

activated 7/20 and I haven't even used 5mb on edge. I have wifi in my apt, and the only other time I was browsing the web was from a local bagel shop that has wifi.

we'll see how much I use it at work tomorrow

Just bought it yesterday (I didn't use it much, though, since I was reading Harry Potter, so this is really only one day's usage so far):

I was online w/mine on 6/29 by 8 p.m. I'm on wi-fi about 98% of the time. EDGE is pretty useless for web surfing any sites on the "real Internet." I can check movie times on an iPhone-optimized site. Anything else is just frustrating. It's quicker to use the Google Maps app and call the theatre.

EDGE has been really nice and convenient for me since I work outside with no Internet access. Sometimes EDGE is really slow, but it's better than what I had before (nothing).

Purchased day of release:

Sent = 10.1MB
Received = 65.7MB

By the way, I was in New York city (Manhattan) a couple weeks ago on business. EDGE is really quite fast in the city. Notably faster than around my residential area (Chester county, PA).

It did work really well when i was there too. Especially when the cab drivers would ask what street you were trying to go to and all you knew was the place... A quick look-up on google maps and then you're off..

I, too, have noticed areas where EDGE is much faster than others.
