sjaptec, i don't see why you couldn't use freewwweb.com's service... i have set it up on a friend's Quadra.
but do not use their software, do not download anything from them, just set up an account at their site and then use the info posted at their site to configure your Mac accordingly...
i use freewwweb.com and earthlink.net and both give me no trouble, though i admit that occasionally the freewwweb.com mailservers are choked, have to wait sometimes to send mail etc.
