Hey thanks. I all did was insert the graphics from tiger. There are a few pixels that need cleaning up here and there, and the code is not correct(I have never learned any xml or javascript so I basically just f-ckd around till I got it looking sort of correct.

If you downloaded this and the text is scrolling off the face, I uploaded a fixed version to the same link.

Just a note, On the iTunes remote, it is the same one from konfabulator, so there is a minize button on the face avove play at about 1:00 o'clock, if you click it the face will minimize, but there is no graphic there. To change it back click the rectangle. It's really faint. I do have a version that I made that minimizes. I'll polish it up and post it too if anyone wants.

To change the name of the default city you have to edit the image in Photoshop. Just black out the area of the city, and use the text tool to type in your own.

Tips:
Control_Click on the widget - Show Package Contents

navigate - Contents/Resources/Analog Clock

Open - Small Face.png in Photoshop

Make sure that the original clock background image is on the bottom layer.

After typing in the name of the new city, click the triangle in the layers tab and select merge visible.

If you did it correctly you should not see a dialog box askig yopu to name the image.

Close the windows-quit Photoshop and restart the widget

I updated the widgets once again.

Basically all that is new is I fixed the transparency image on the iTunes Remote. It looks much cleaner.

Maybe I'll use a version number

Thanx again

Sorry, can I ask what issues you had with Tiger? I'm not going to offer support or anything, but I've been running it for about a week and haven't encountered anything (except dial up is really buggy and causes lock up)

Ok I have finished the minimized version. There shouldn't be any more weird window problems.

There are two iTunes remote widgets. One has Visible Controls for minimizing the display and turning on/off Random song selection

The other has an invisible minimize button just above the play button.

You can download the new version from the original link.

enjoy

Nice modding job, but I have to say that some of the Dashboard widgets are much uglier than the ones currently available for Konfab.

This is a computer-generated message and needs no signature.

Yeah, they don't translate as well to Panther without the cool effects. Without them they are just webpages. In fact if you open up a widget there is an html file inside. If you open it in Safari you have a working gadget, even in Panther.

At least the iTunes remote looks cool.

Not saying I can help with this.. but dggraphics, could you possibly post the code relating to the "volume scroll wheel". I'm interested on how they did it. It might be done with JavaScript tracking the position of the mouse relatie to the wheel's bounds and using some math to determine where to place the volume circle. If so, it might be possible to transfer this over to Konfabulator. But if I recall correctly, the uploaded iTunes widget we saw a few days ago didn't have the scroll wheel functionality. Which leads me to believe that it's relying on some sort of extension to CSS or HTML aailable only in Tiger/Safari 1.3 like Hyatt describes. Either way, it'd be cool if you could possibly post some relevant code snippets

var ourTimer = nil;
var kFullCircleInRadians = Math.PI * 2.0;
var kStep = (kFullCircleInRadians/50.0);
var rotAnim = 0;

Is it me or is the scrollbar on the stickie way out of whack?

On the clock widget why not remove the city name from the .png and have a black face. Then make a user definable text area (definable in prefs) under the clock face with a large white font. This way you could just type in your city and hey presto! all is cool.
