Hello!
After installing OS X.1 on a spare hard drive, I took the liberty of updating my main system to 9.2.1. Since doing that, the machine (G4 768 MB RAM) can't seem to see my 30 gig external firewire drive. It doesn't show up under OS 9 or OS X. Any ideas!! Help would be enormously appreciated.
Thanks!

Check the vendor's website to see if any new extensions or patches have come out for your device and if so install them lickety-split!

If you have another Mac available, test your Firewire Target Disk Mode to see if the other Mac recognizes it.
If it doesn't, you've got a hardware issue...

The 9.21 update bites. I suggest you go back to 9.1 unless you can get a 9.21 full install.
