Or most of the time, nearer.
Don't expect the 2.5 until September or October.

The new dual 1.8 is a downgrade (compared to the old dual 1.8s). Expect it to make way for another one before too long........

compare the "old" dual 1.8 to the new dual 2.0 for a more valid comparison....you are comparing the old middle line to the new bottom - there is a difference there you know

The BTO Duasl 2.5 I ordered with the Radeon 9800XT says it'll ship in July. But I'd accept August as well.

No, the new G4 derivative (called the e700 or something) from Motorola is 64 but at 3.2 ghz. As The Apple Turns had an article on it, compared it to being in the grocery store and whichever line you're NOT in goes fastest.

LOL.
I hope you realize that the e700 won't be here for a LONG time. In fact, the e600 doesn't even exist yet either.

A really long straw. We will keep it cool with a series of dual 2.5 G5 liquid cooling pumps.

Yeah, but that can only cool to near room temperature.

Has or does anyone know if these cooler pumps will cool the CPUs enough that the mac will not have to go into "Hoover" mode(super loud fan)
just how much less will the fans kick in?
